Evidence over opinion
Research findings, usability metrics and telemetry decide the design — not the loudest stakeholder in the room.
Experience Design
Enterprise software is judged on how quickly someone finishes a task on their forty-ninth repetition, not on how the landing page looks. We research the real workflow, prototype fast, test with actual users, and deliver a design system engineering can implement without guesswork.

Overview
We open with contextual research: shadowing users, reviewing support tickets and analysing product telemetry to find where time and errors actually accumulate. That evidence sets the design priorities, which is why our redesigns move operational metrics rather than only satisfaction scores.
Design systems are delivered as engineering artefacts — tokens, component specifications, interaction states, responsive rules and accessibility annotations — versioned alongside the code that consumes them.
Accessibility is designed in: contrast, focus order, target sizes, error messaging and screen-reader semantics are specified before handoff, not retrofitted after an audit.
Research findings, usability metrics and telemetry decide the design — not the loudest stakeholder in the room.
Interactive prototypes tested with real users so expensive assumptions fail in Figma, not in production.
Tokenised, documented component libraries that keep the fiftieth screen as consistent as the first.
WCAG 2.2 AA specified at design time and verified with assistive technology.
What we build
The components below are engineered patterns we have shipped repeatedly — not concepts we would be exploring for the first time on your project.
Recruitment, moderated sessions, synthesis and a prioritised findings backlog scored by impact and effort.
Realistic flows with real data shapes, tested for comprehension and completion before development starts.
Colour, type, spacing, elevation and motion as tokens that map one-to-one onto CSS variables or platform themes.
Specs covering every state — empty, loading, error, partial, dense — plus breakpoints and animation timings.
Landmarks, heading order, labels, focus behaviour and announcements documented per component.
Task success, time on task, error rate and SUS tracked before and after so the value is demonstrable.
Capabilities
The full scope of the practice. Engagements typically draw on a focused subset — this is the bench you have access to.
Business impact
Figures are medians across delivered engagements in this practice. We will baseline your own numbers during discovery rather than promise these.
44%
Median improvement across redesigned enterprise workflows, measured in moderated testing.
↓ 52%
Clearer error handling, better empty states and honest progressive disclosure.
↑ 3.8
Typical usability-scale gain following a research-led redesign.
↓ 30%
A documented system with complete state coverage removes mid-sprint design ambiguity.
Technology stack
Selected per engagement against your existing estate, your team's skills and total cost of ownership — never by partnership tier.

How we deliver
Six stages, each with a defined output. You can stop after any one of them and still hold something useful.
Business goals, user research, competitive review, telemetry analysis and a measurable problem statement.
Personas grounded in research, journey maps, information architecture and prioritised opportunity areas.
Concept exploration, wireframes, then an interactive prototype at the fidelity needed to test the real risk.
Moderated usability sessions, accessibility review, iteration and a documented evidence trail for decisions.
Design tokens, component library, documentation, accessibility annotations and contribution guidelines.
Sprint-embedded design QA, implementation review and post-launch measurement against the baseline.
Engagement models
Three commercial shapes. Most clients begin with an assessment and move into delivery once the plan is agreed.
From $12,000
Two to four weeks. Produces a prioritised backlog, target architecture, risk register and a costed delivery plan you own outright.
Most common
Scoped per phase
Well-bounded phases priced against agreed acceptance criteria. Suited to migrations, integrations and defined product increments.
Monthly retainer
An embedded team — lead, engineers, QA — working in your sprints and tooling with US-hours overlap from our India centre.
Indicative ranges for planning purposes. Final pricing follows scope confirmation — we do not quote before we understand the problem.
FAQs
Yes, proportionally. Where the domain is well understood we run a compressed one-week discovery using existing telemetry, support tickets and a handful of interviews. What we will not do is skip validation entirely — even three usability sessions on a prototype prevent expensive mistakes.
We can, and there are real advantages to it — no handoff loss and no arguments about feasibility. We also work purely as a design partner alongside your engineers, in which case we provide Storybook-ready specifications and stay available for design QA.
Governance and tooling. Tokens are the single source of truth consumed directly by code, visual regression testing catches drift, a contribution process defines how new patterns get added, and we run a quarterly parity audit between Figma and production.
We convert opinions into testable hypotheses and let users settle it. Presenting two prototypes with usability data attached is dramatically more effective than another review meeting, and it depersonalises the decision.
Designing for it costs very little. Retrofitting it is what gets expensive — remediating an inaccessible product typically costs several times what specifying it correctly would have. We build it into the design system so compliance becomes the default path.
Corporate sites, commerce, portals and headless platforms engineered for Core Web Vitals and conversion.
Native iOS and Android, Flutter and React Native apps — plus enterprise mobility and app modernisation.
Custom platforms, CRM, ERP, HRMS and workflow systems engineered for the way your business actually operates.
Test automation, performance, API, security and mobile testing built into the delivery pipeline.
